About Us

Scrub & Co.

Scrub & Co consists of 5 employees who are Year 13 students at Henderson High School (a secondary school located in Auckland, New Zealand). Scrub & Co was founded in August 2022 after the students were tasked with creating a product thats unique to our competitors while also incorperating Maori business concepts such as Kaitiakitanga. In 2022, creating this business was worth 15 credits (a quarter of what an NCEA student needs to sucessfully pass NCEA Level 3). Scrub & Co has a strong focus on being enviromentally friendly and making affordable products.

As part of the YES (Young Enterprise Scheme) programe and as part of an internally assessed NCEA standard, we have enjoyed the learning given to us by Henderson High School, The Re-Creators and YES. The knowledge from all of our partners has signifcantly contributed towards the establishment of our organisation. We look forward to working with these partners in the future.
